After being out of ESW for more than five months, he made his return at ESW Reckoning Day 2004 in February. When he was introduced by former rival Cade Cassidy, he quickly turned on Cassidy and revealed his allaince with Ice and Jonny Puma, forming what is known today as Club Elite.

In the summer of 2004, he redubbed himself "Eye Candy" Randy Walker and went after Shade's ESW Interstate Title. Walker traded the title with Shade in an exciting feud, featuring two excellent matches. He won the belt at Unsanctioned in June, but then lost the belt and his hair in their rematch "hair vs. mask" bout at WrestleBash in August.
